Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are among her most renowned covers. She gained some further recognition thanks to a Facebook post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the track Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding an old piano that was hidden away within her attic, then getting enthralled by the sounds that it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to take up music not to get a job or as an interest, but to develop. To do this she began to write songs that were her own creations. Her influence comes from famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her affinity with Bjork's style. She decided to start performing their songs in public after her mom suggested they could help people to not become famous through her music but instead help people see around them realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just 6 years old and began writing music before she reached nine. Her family didn't know about it until she reached fourteen. Aurora wasn't just a fantasy of childhood. Her words say that she simply likes to write songs. For her, music is the best way for expressing anything.
